John Berry is a British playwright based in Eastbourne. He is currently artistic director of Printers Playhouse and formerly associate director of The Grove theatre. John trained at the Royal Birmingham conservatoire (formerly Birmingham school of speech and drama) and HB studios in New York. John's plays include, “Code of Conduct,“COLDSTREAM”, “Cracks” “from one heart to another” “Stick some shoes on and let’s go” “My Brain has a mind of its own” and “Happenings”. Professionally, John has written for The Theatre Shed, Croydon youth theatre and Waterford Arts. His plays have been performed at the Brighton Fringe, London, New York and “Happenings” recently won the new writing competition at the Stables theatre, Hastings.
